Los Gatos Set to Expand Biking/ Walking Trail Network …

Bay Area Optimistic of Life after Winter

Los Gatos has begun working on a project to expand the walking and biking trails throughout the city for the purpose of cultivating a more “pedestrian friendly” city. The trails are subject a high-volume of traffic yet they contain gaps which make them less than efficient at times. The city of Los Gatos utilized the opinions of its citizens to ideally create a network of trails that would maximize the use for the city’s residents. The City also found that an estimated 50% of the population that uses these trails are students and the plan was expanded to improve the safety of the trails as well. Lexington Reservoir at Full Capacity

Once this Winter passes, we will then fully able to appreciate the sight of an extremely hydrated Bay Area for the first time in years.

The heavy rains and high winds continue to barrage the Bay Area this winter and many residents are being affected by flooding, road closures, and severe home damage. The present may appear bleak but many people are in-fact optimistic. Once this Winter passes, we will then fully able to appreciate the sight of an extremely hydrated Bay Area for the first time in years.

The news of the local Los Gatos Lexington Reservoir being at capacity specifically was great news for the area as many believed it would never be full again due to the drought. At the Lexington Reservoir, there has been the danger of being at “dangerously low levels” according the county. Many residents of the area consider this place a fantastic place to have fun with the whole family because, when in peak condition, visitors can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, fishing, non-motor boating as well as many other outdoor activities.

As Spring approaches and the clouds part, we will find a brand-new, revitalized Bay Area with a newfound appreciation for the Californian outdoors and hopefully continued booming Bay Area Real Estate market.
