Support Our Troops
Last September one of the members of our office 19 year old Son Jordan, was stationed in Afghanistan. Of course this is a very stressful situation for the family and a reminder the issues in the Middle East are still affecting our families. Since his arrival in Afghanistan we have mailed care packages to Jordan to enjoy and share with his unit. As you can imagine these items from family and friends really help the moral of our soldiers. So we have decided for 2011 to continue to send these packages to our military and would ask you to help us if you are able. Our goal is to send care packages by bi-monthly. In the care packages we have sent, we included letters and hand drawn pictures by our children. We think these are very special items and a reminder to the men and women protecting us why they are living half way across the world, away from their loved ones. If you would like to add a letter or drawing from your family we will include them in the packages.
Some other ideas of items we have sent:
Thank you so much for your thoughts & action in supporting our troops abroad in a harm way. As a retired military man who served many months away from home, I can testify that receiving a package from a family member is very heart warming, but receiving a package from a stranger American who believes in the cause of the sacrifices that the men & women of our Arm Forces make, is very over-whelming. The thought of "someone cares for what I do" is the testimony of many sailors & soldiers that gives them the extra boost of energy needed to do their job, unselfishly, around the clock, as the call of duty arise.
On behalf of my son, Jordan Isaac, and the members of his batallion, I thank the staff at Synoptics Real Estate Group, for the gifts prepared & sent to Afghanestan.
May God bless our troops and may God bless our nation.
Thank you,
Jack Chaharbakshi
